The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) and the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) collaborated to create the Manufacturing Disruption Mitigation Assistance (MDMA) program in order to assist Maryland’s manufacturing industry in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Public health experts advise that property owners invest in technologies that facilitate greater internal airflow, which can increase operation costs or necessitate updating equipment. As one service, MDMA provides an in-depth, onsite assessment of a manufacturer’s site and system operations, identifies solutions as well as funding sources and provides application assistance. For more information, attend one of the free webinars on MDMA assistance happening this month.
